Anyone who’s talked about Hip-Hop with me recently knows I’m not that excited about Rappers now-a-days. I think Kanye’s a Douche and Lil Wayne is good, but I think his content to be alot more expansive. Pretty Much Murs, Ghost, DOOM and Medaphor are the only lyricists I’m excited to hear from in recent years.

But I’d like to add a new name to that list: Wale. I stumbled across his name on passion of the weiss and was intrigued. Smart and heartfelt, I agree with pretty much everything Weiss had to say about Wale and I’m encouraged by what I’ve heard.
